The cleaning power of conventional synthetic detergents relies on creating foam with low biodegradability (which cannot decompose naturally) through agitation, friction, or tapping. Therefore, many synthetic detergents can only demonstrate their cleaning ability when external energy is applied.
Nanocollo Nature is a multifunctional cleaning technology that differs from conventional synthetic detergents (surfactants). The molecules of nano-sized soybean fatty acids actively engage in Brownian motion in water, allowing them to decompose dirt through their own movement without the need for external energy input.
Brownian motion refers to the phenomenon where nano-sized fatty acids collide with water molecules, gaining energy and subsequently dispersing.
Nanocollo Nature exerts a coating effect that prevents the re-adhesion of dirt by covering surfaces with small particles (colloids) after breaking down the dirt components.

Nanocollo Nature® SSSEN was developed based on the idea of applying Nanocollo Nature®’s technology – which achieves powerful cleaning effectiveness while using natural soybean-derived ingredients – to hand sanitizing and antibacterial treatment of everyday items.
While the original Nanocollo Nature® used purified water as its diluting agent, we began our journey by searching for water that would be gentler on human skin and compatible with Nanocollo Nature®’s formula.
That’s when we coincidentally discovered the “hot spring water” now used as the diluting agent in “SSSEN.” This hot spring water is an alkaline ultra-soft water called “Onsen-sui 99” from Tarumizu City, Kagoshima Prefecture, known for its excellent penetrating power and lipophilic properties. We focused on these penetrating and lipophilic characteristics and decided to merge Onsen-sui 99 with Nanocollo Nature®’s technology. Surprisingly, we discovered that this combination demonstrated higher cleaning power than the Nanocollo Nature® formulated with purified water. (Patent No. 7178069)

During the development of SSSEN, we received feedback that when used on hands and face, the soybean ingredient’s scent was slightly noticeable. Wanting users to have a pleasant experience when using it on their hands, we considered incorporating natural fragrances. Among numerous natural fragrances, we discovered “Hosho” (Camphor Tree) essential oil cultivated in Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. This Hosho, which is also used in high-end cosmetics, is expected to have relaxation effects and is gaining attention as a medicinal fragrance.
When we combined this Hosho essential oil with Nanocollo Nature®, we successfully maintained its high cleaning power while adding a pleasant fragrance.
